Justine Gibbon

Justine Gibbon is certified as a Dyslexia Specialist through the Center of Effective Reading Instruction and North Dakota Department of Public Instruction. Justine earned her Master of Education from North Dakota State University in 2017 and received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Valley City State University and Bachelor of Science Child Development & Family Science from North Dakota State University. She has 16 years of experience as a reading specialist at Kindred Elementary School, where she works with a wide range of emerging readers, including those with dyslexia. She has previously collaborated with the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to create a webinar series for educators statewide, drawing on her expertise in dyslexia. Justine has also served on the board of directors for the International Dyslexia Association – Upper Midwest Branch and has held multiple terms as president of Decoding Dyslexia of North Dakota, a parent advocacy group.
