Justine earned her Master of Education from North Dakota State University in 2017 and received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Valley City State University and also received a Bachelor of Science Child Development & Family Science from North Dakota State University. Ms. Gibbon has 12+ years teaching experience and currently is the Title I Reading Specialist at Kindred Public School. This is her sixth year at KPS as a reading specialist and is passionate for early intervention, especially with struggling readers in the primary grades, because research suggests early intervention helps prevent an ‘achievement gap’ destine to appear in later grades. Justine has lots of experience with reading and interpreting student data to find the best fit interventions and differentiated instruction for individual students. She is also an active member of the school’s Response-To-Intervention team, and provides the team with intervention ideas and academic goals for struggling students.
