Meet both days 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Description
Course will explore pollinators, what they are, where they live, life cycles, importance of pollinators and how you can make a difference. Workshop is standards based, teaching across the curriculum with hands on activities to engage all learning styles. Content areas include life science, language arts, agriculture and visual art. |
Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes
Objectives:
Participants will:
- be able to identify pollinator species and their habitat needs.
- develop understanding of the importance of pollinator species.
- be able to integrate resources into their existing curriculums.
- will develop lessons plans to integrate knowledge acquired in the workshop into their existing curriculum.
