Meet both days 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Description
Explore pollinators, what they are, where they live, life cycles, importance of pollinators and how you can make a difference.
This workshop is standards based, teaching across the curriculum with hands-on activities to engage all learning styles. Content areas include life science, language arts, agriculture and visual art. Topics and activities are suitable for all grade levels.
Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes
Objectives:
You will:
- Be able to identify pollinator species and their habitat needs.
- Develop understanding of the importance of pollinator species.
- Be able to integrate resources into your existing curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans to integrate knowledge acquired in the workshop into your existing curriculum.
