Before obtaining her doctorate in history from Louisianna State University, Dr. Baggett earned a bachelor’s in secondary education, social studies and taught on various levels—including middle school, high school, and college—since 2003. Because of her education background, she is associate faculty with the School of Education’s Teacher Ed program for History/Social Sciences. Also, due to her research and area of expertise, Baggett is affiliate faculty with the Women and Gender Studies program.
