Ravi Yellavajjala

Dr. Yellavajjala earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from University of Notre Dame in 2014; received his Master of Technology in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Chennai, India in 2009, and earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from S.R.K.R. College of Engineering in Bhimavaram, India in 2007. 

Dr. Yellavajjala's core expertise lies in the field of experimental and theoretical mechanics. Specifically, He is interested in microstructure and micromechanics based modeling of damage in engineering materials and structures. His other interests include constitutive modeling of materials, numerical methods, sensitivity analyses of structural response, forensic failure analysis and advanced visualization techniques.  Currently Dr. Yellavajjala is an Assistant Professor in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Dept. at North Dakota State University.
