Brooke Thiel

Dr. Brooke Thiel earned her Ph.D. in Education in 2020, her Masters in Agricultural Education in 2017 & received her Bachelors in Agricultural Education & Animal Science in 2010 from North Dakota State University.  Brooke has received many awards and was the recipient of the NDAAE Distinguished Service Award in 2020, the NDACTE Outstanding Early Career Agricultural Education Teacher as well as the ND Career & Technical Education Director's Award of Excellence in Ag. Ed.  Dr. Thiel has 10+ years teaching experience and currrently is an Assistant Professor at North Dakota State University.

Amanda Cordova

Dr. Amanda Cordova earned her Ph.D. in 2018, her Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies in 2014 and earned her Bachelors of Social Work in 1993 from University of Texas at San Antonio. Amanda received many awards such as the AERA CESJ SIG Selma Greenberg Outstanding Dissertation Award in 2020, the ELPS Department Barbara Jackson Scholarship Award in 2018 & 2017 as well as the Graduate School Professional Development Award in 2017 & 2016. Dr. Cordova has 12+ years teaching experience and currently is an Assistant Professor at North Dakota State University.

Jessica McQueston

Dr. Jessica McQueston is an Assistant Professor in the Teacher Education Program in the School of Education at NDSU. She earned her Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020. Jessica’s research interest looks to understand and address the barriers to inclusive education, particularly for students with the most extensive support needs. In 2018, she received the inaugural Forward in Access Award for providing an inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities on the University of Wisconsin- Madison campus. Previously, she was a K-6 special educator, general educator, and literacy specialist in New Mexico for six years.
