Dr. Teresa Shume received her Ph.D. in Teaching & Learning in 2013 from University of North Dakota, earned her M.Ed. in Educational Studies in 1998 from University of Utah, and completed bachelor’s degrees in Education and Zoology from the University of Manitoba. Dr. Shume has received many teaching awards including the Exceptional Contributions to Learning Award from the NDSU College of Human Sciences and Education in 2021. Dr. Shume has 30+ years teaching experience and currently is an Associate Professor in the NDSU School of Education.
