Patty McGee

Ms. McGee earned her M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership in 2009 from Montclair State University; received her B.A. in Elementary Education in 1994 from Loyola College in Baltimore. Patty is a nationally recognized literacy consultant, author, and Milken Educator with nearly 30 years of experience helping K–12 teachers and leaders build results-driven, research-grounded literacy practice. Co-author of Not Your Granny's Grammar (Corwin, 2025) and author of Feedback That Moves Writers Forward (Corwin, 2017). Partners with schools and districts nationally and internationally, with deep experience supporting sustained, whole-district growth. A warm, practical facilitator who works alongside teachers in classrooms as readily as in workshops.
