Stacy Duffield
Stacy Duffield earned her Ph.D. in Secondary/Higher Education from the University of North Dakota. Her M.Ed. in Reading Education was awarded from the University of North Dakota. Dr. Stacy Duffield is the Director of Office of Teaching & Learning has been at NDSU for 16+ years. Stacy also teaches undergraduate and graduate level teacher preparation courses, coordinated the Teacher Education program and the School of Education assessment and accreditation efforts, supervises student teachers, and researches scholarly writing for publication. Stacy taught in public high schools schools for nine years before starting her career in higher education.
Dr. Duffield's work has been published in numerous scholarly publications including the Journal of Chemical Education, Middle School Journal, Innovative Higher Education, The Journal of Social Studies Research, Journal of Family and Consumer Sciences Education, Journal of Education for Business, International Journal for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, The Encyclopedia of Rural America, Teacher Development, and Current Issues in Education. Stacy has received many awards & honors such as the 2018 Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) Edward C. Pomeroy Award for Outstanding Contributions to Teacher Education; received for several years both the Outstanding Service to the School of Education as well as the Apple Polisher Award from NDSU Bison Ambassadors student organization for outstanding teaching.
williAM GRUBE
William Grube is the founder of Gruvy Education. He has worked with over 100 schools across the country. His work has ranged from providing AI training to giving keynotes. William graduated with his degree in Computer Science in the spring of 2024.
His efforts are aimed at equipping educators with the tools to prepare students for a world where AI tools are better than what we see today. William hopes to help make learning more relevant in the 21st century.
Driven by a strong desire to contribute to the fields of education and artificial intelligence, William applies his knowledge and skills to make a notable impact.
