This book study will explore the book Stolen Focus: Why You Can’t Pay Attention—and How to Think Deeply Again by Johann Hari. The book examines why attention and focus have become harder to sustain in modern life and explores research-based explanations related to technology, stress, sleep, environment, and systems that shape how we think and learn.
Through guided reading, reflection, and discussion, participants will examine how attention impacts learning, mental health, productivity, and well-being, with a focus on implications for students, educators, and school systems. The course emphasizes practical application and reflective practice to support deeper thinking, sustained attention, and healthier learning environments.
