Description

Read a wide range of graphic novels covering biographies, nonfiction, and fantasy. Study the history of comics, how they interact with the brain, and why they are so appealing to reluctant readers.

This course is targeted at instructors in the elementary and middle school grade levels. The assignments will allow you to reflect on what you learn about graphic novels, draw correlations to what you are doing in the classroom, and reflect on past experiences.
