Meeting Pattern
Students will select and listen to podcasts from the site titled Changing the Game Project with one on-line preview discussion at the beginning of the course (September 2 @ 7:00 p.m. CST) and one on-line discussion at the conclusion of the course (November 10 @ 7:00 p.m. CST) via zoom in which attendance is required.

As stated above, this is a self-paced course and you can work ahead at your own pace. I listed the dates above as a guide for you to follow so you can complete your work in a timely fashion. I expect you to complete the assignments listed on a weekly basis.

This course is intended to increase your awareness and understanding of important issues regarding sport coaching.

Objectives:
You will:
- identify and discuss the challenges of coaching in contemporary society.
- identify and study a specific topic in coaching and athlete development.
- write a paper based on their focus area in coaching and athlete development.
Materials:
Required Materials
You are required to listen to 9 podcasts of your choice from Changing the Game Project https://changingthegameproject.com/podcast/ under resources. To date, there are over 400 podcasts that can be accessed from the website. Each podcast is approximately one hour in length.
