Description

This experience will allow the participants to learn how to create a positive experience for high school student-aged athletes and coaches. If you are a staff member in a school who needs to help plan logistics for events, completing this course will help you to understand what is needed to successfully complete an event.

  1. Obtain Safe Sport Certification Before the Start of the Tournament, https://uscenterforsafesport.org/training-and-education/safesport-courses-for-all/ *Submit image of the certificate via email to the instructor. 
  2. Take notes after working each session to apply to your career.
  3. Complete required course sessions for credit.
  4. Type a reflective essay – 5 paragraphs – Identify the three main things you learned from working and how you can apply that to your position (e.g. teacher, coach, etc.) *Submit file of essay via email to the instructor @ mslocomb@west-fargo.k12.nd.us by July 26th.
