Meeting Pattern
This course is self-paced. Students will select and listen to podcasts from the site titled Changing the Game Project with one on-line preview discussion at the beginning of the course (September 3 @ 9:00 p.m. CST) and one on-line discussion at the conclusion of the course (November 13 @ 7:00 p.m. CST) in which attendance is required. For the on-line discussion, we will use BB Collaborate, a video conferencing software. You will need to have a camera and headphones so we can all see and hear one another.

This course is intended to increase your awareness and understanding of important issues regarding sport coaching.
Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes
Objectives:
Students will:
- identify and discuss the challenges of coaching in contemporary society.
- identify and study a specific topic in coaching and athlete development .
- write a paper based on their focus area in coaching and athlete development.
Required Materials:
You are required to listen to 10 podcasts of your choice from Changing the Game Project https://changingthegameproject.com/category/podcast/. To date, there are over 300 podcasts that can be accessed from the website. Each podcast is approximately one hour in length.
