Description
Join us for this two-day event where you and other educators who help people choose career paths will learn to identify student abilities suited for and the value of a community and technical college program.
This event is hosted by Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State).
Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes
Objectives:
After successful completion of Connect to a Career activities, you will:
- Have an in-depth understanding of the programs offered at a 2-year community and technical college;
- Identify student abilities well-suited for programs offered at a community and technical college;
- Recognize the value of an education from a comprehensive community and technical college;
- Realize the employment opportunities and earning potential upon completion of a degree or diploma from a community and technical college.
Materials:
No textbook or other outside resources or readings are required for the class.
