Meeting Pattern
This course will be an independent study from July 8 - 29. Students will complete the reality check organizer, read the teacher vision board article, and complete the vision activity PDF as their independent study assignments. Students can register for the course anytime prior to July 29 and still be able to complete the independent study assignments in time for the class session.
Meet Tuesday, July 30 (8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) Total cost will include snacks, lunch & beverages.
Description
Reconnect with your purpose, revive your teacher joy, and knock out a few items from your back-to-school to-do list. This practical, applicable PD provides a whole day of focused designing, planning, and prepping.
Come solo or with a team to tackle a shared goal!

Participants will:
- Outline a vision for the 2024-25 school year that maximizes JOY while providing work/life balance;
- Identify frustrations that are limiting your (& student's) ability to thrive;
- Brainstorm resources, tools, and strategies that can help;
- Tap into the expertise of fellow educators for inspiration & feedback;
- Design a lesson, activity, unit, or system to improve teaching & learning.
