• September 23rd - Conference Simle Middle School Bismarck, ND
• October 7th – Zoom Meeting 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Description

This course is an opportunity to learn with professionals across the country at the ND SHAPE conference September 22-23rd in Bismarck ND.  

Participants will have 2 options to complete ONE Credit:

Option 1: Attend Entire Conference Activities

• Attend Pre-Conference & Awards PLC Activities Sunday, September 22 {Pre-Conference: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.; Education PLC portion of social 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.}
• Attend Conference Monday, September 23rd, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
• Submit Completion of attendance and conference survey at the end of the conference.

Option 2: Monday Conference, Conference Assignment & Zoom Meeting Oct 7th - 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.

• Participants will attend the ND SHAPE conference Monday, September 23rd at Simle Middle School, Bismarck, ND. 
• Participants will implement and reflect on one concept/lesson/activity learned at the conference. 
• Participants will complete post conference reading. Participants will read through new State Physical Education Standards. Participants will prepare to share an activity, assessment, and proficiency scale for a self-selected standard. 
• Participants will share learning at a Zoom Meeting Scheduled for Monday, Oct 7th = 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Teachers will understand and experience:

• Quality professional development provided by highly qualified educators from around the country.
• Best practices and implementation of the new state Physical Education standards.
• Networking and learning opportunities through zoom meetings with professionals around ND.
• Sharing and implementing the lessons presented learned from the ND SHAPE conference.
