• February 3 (optional) = 8:30 p.m.
• February 12 & 19 = 8:00 - 10:00 p.m.

This course is an opportunity to learn with ND professionals how to incorporate the Believe in You Social & Emotional Learning curriculum into the classroom. 

Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes

Objectives:

Teachers will understand:

• Networking and learning opportunities through zoom meetings with professionals around ND.
• High Quality Resources available to support best practices in teaching SEL activities.
• SEL activities for grade levels K-12.
• Implementing at least one SEL activity learned from the Believe in You curriculum.

Topical Outline:

• Feb 3rd - 8:30 P.M. Optional Zoom meeting to help with login and initial navigation of course materials.
• Feb 2 - Feb 12th Navigate and watch Seasons 1 & 2 and corresponding seasons materials. Each season contains nine: 10-12 Min episodes and supporting lessons for each episode.
• Feb 12th: Zoom Meeting 8:00 – 10:00 P.M. Be ready to discuss Seasons 1 & 2 and corresponding season materials.
• Feb 12th - Feb 19: Watch Season 3 and examine corresponding materials as well as all Believe in You Journals.
• Feb 19th - Zoom Meeting 8:00 - 10:00 P.M. Be ready to discuss Season 3, corresponding materials and implementation ideas related to Believe in You materials.
