Description

This course is an opportunity to learn with ND professionals how to incorporate the Believe in You Social & Emotional Learning curriculum into the classroom. 

Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes

Objectives:

Teachers will understand:

• Networking and learning opportunities through zoom meetings with professionals around ND.
• High Quality Resources available to support best practices in teaching SEL activities.
• SEL activities for grade levels K-12.
• Implementing at least one SEL activity learned from the Believe in You curriculum.

Topical Outline:

• June 18, 8:30 – 10 p.m. Intro into Believe in You curriculum. Access to all materials, class expectations.
• June 25, 8:30 – 10 p.m. Season 1 Episodes and Lesson Plans
• July 9, 8:30 – 10 p.m. Season 2 & 3 Episodes and Lesson Plans
• July 16, 8:30 – 10 p.m. SEL Competencies Index, Believe In You Journals (8), Student Leadership Journals, The collective, The Bulletin and your next implementation steps.
