Description
Conscious Discipline is a parenting education curriculum. It has been found to improve parenting knowledge and skills, increase parents ability to manage their own emotions and respond to children’s challenging behaviors, and improve emotional management and behavior in children.
Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes
Objectives:
- Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the importance of social emotional learning with children they serve.
- This course will equip participants to integrate social-emotional learning, discipline and self-regulation, utilizing everyday events to cultivate emotional intelligence through a self-regulation program.
