Description

What you don't know about yourself can hurt you and your relationships. If you want help figuring out who you are and how you interact with others, this is a book to read. The Enneagram is an ancient personality assessment that describes how humans are wired, both positively and negatively. In this book, The Road Back to You, Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile share their Enneagram wisdom and explore its connections with Christian spirituality for a deeper knowledge of ourselves, compassion for others, and love for God. This book will help you understand the 9 Enneagram types and perhaps help you classify those in your life. First, you’ll get an overview of each type and then be challenged to find out the numbers of those around you---your spouse, significant other, kids, co-workers, and teammates. I believe that soon, you will also start to see the world through other people's eyes and develop a greater empathy as you seek to understand how and why people think, feel, and act the way they do. You’ll be given some practical tips on how to apply your new knowledge to your life and how you can take further steps to discover who you are and how you interact with others. The class will be taught on Google Classroom with a few meetings set up for evening sessions of Q&A, along with application, and conversation.
