The topics on this course, websites, videos and textbook point out that boys show they get success from gaming even though many think it is a waste of time.  Girls are learning coding.   Stigma hurts some girls and boys because of pressure from the media, TV, and the Internet.  The news finds a “new normal” with some tragedies in the lives of young people.  Our course will cover some points of this. The text, websites and videos take-into-account how boys and girls are influenced by educational and family environment. The class is comprised of acquiring information from a textbook, and websites with articles and videos.

Michael Gurian and his colleagues applied these recent discoveries in the field during a two-year Gurian Institute pilot program in Missouri that led to measurably better academic performance and improved behavior."
