Description

Educators often have to learn new information and skills in order to support students and their families. We learn things like how to use a new software or application, operate a new device, or quickly get up to speed on new content. Most of this learning was in the moment but just as valuable as learning you have done in formal classes. You deserve credit for your new knowledge and skills, and this class allows you to document your learning to receive credit toward licensure and salary lane changes.

Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes

OBJECTIVES:

The educator:

  1. will describe learning that occurred to support students and their famlies.
  2. will identify evidence of this learning.

TOPICAL OUTLINE:

The educator will present a log of learning activities equivalent to 15 hours for 1 PD credit.

Please note: if completing Just-in-Time Learning 2-12 for additional credits, substantially different or additional learning activities must be submitted. Each credit earned requires 15 hours and registration in the subsequent class. For example, if you have 45 hours, enroll in Just-in-Time Learning 1, 2, and 3.
