Description

The Good Anxiety book teaches that managing anxiety is a key component of our ability to live optimally. The author reveals skills to better manage difficult, negative emotions and anxiousness. The classroom assignments will provide an opportunity to reflect upon the skills identified in the book, and then apply them to the book study participant’s counseling or classroom setting to assist students with anxiousness.

OBJECTIVES:

Students who complete the course will be able to:

  • Become aware of new methods, innovations, and practical tips for helping students and adults manage their anxiety.
  • Utilize the knowledge gained from the text and apply it to their own counseling or teaching professions.
  • Recognize and reflect on personal anxiety management strengths and weaknesses.
