Description
This class is an opportunity for teachers to explore recent books with excellent reviews and enjoy. The participants will also have a chance to reflect on how these books might be useful for their own classrooms in modeling SEL behaviors.
Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes
Objectives:
Students will:
- Become familiar with a variety of current diverse children’s literature.
- Explore Social Emotional themes through literature.
- Build reading community by sharing thoughts and observations through a variety of online environments.
