Meeting Pattern

Virtual meet-up - Attend ONE of the following:

• Wednesday, August 5 from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.
• Monday, August 10 from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. "or" 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.

Educators will have access to the asynchronous material via Google Classroom as soon as you register. Asynchronous sessions 1-7 should be completed PRIOR to your preferred Virtual Meet-Up time.

Description

Head into the new school year with a clear head and a focused plan. The Gear-Up Prep course is a practical, applicable PD that provides focused designing, planning, and prepping for all K-12 educators. You’ll identify something you’d like to do, change, revise, try, implement, or improve this year- for yourself and/or students. With guided support, you’ll reflect, identify opportunities, and then design (a lesson, a unit, a system). Earn continuing education credit for knocking out a few items from your teacher to-do list as you gear up for a great year.

• Identify frustrations that are limiting your (& students') ability to thrive;
• Brainstorm resources, tools, and strategies that can help;
• Tap into the expertise of fellow educators for inspiration & feedback;
• Design a lesson, activity, unit, or system to improve teaching & learning for 2026-27;
• Earn continuing education credit for rethinking, redesigning, or creating something new for your classroom.
